High-level V4 Meeting on Nuclear Energy and adoption of a Joint Statement

V4 high-level officals responsible for nuclear energy met in Paks on 18 November 2021 and adopted a joint statement on the path towards climate neutrality. The event was hosted by Mr. János Süli, minister without portfolio in charge of the upgrade of the Paks nuclear power plant.

V4 Foreign Ministers meet in Brussels

15 November 2021

On the margins of the Foreign Affairs Council meeting, V4 Foreign Ministers met in Brussels on 15 November to discuss the situation on the Polish-Belarusian border. The Foreign Ministers of Hungary, the Czech Republic and Slovakia assured Poland of their support in face of the growing migratory pressure on the EU's Eastern border and agreed that if Poland needs any help to tackle the crisis, the other three countries are ready to provide immediate assistance.

1st V4 Teqball Gala

The first ever V4 Teqball Gala was held in Telki, Hungary on 6 November 2021. During the one-day tournament, hosted by the Hungarian V4 Presidency, athletes from the four Central European countries competed for the gold medal, the event also featured an inclusive para teqball exhibition.

The Prime Ministers of the Visegrad Group and the President of the Republic of Korea held their second summit meeting on 4 November 2021, organised by the Hungarian V4 Presidency in Budapest. The leaders also adopted a joint statement on V4+Korea cooperation and current international affairs.

V4+Western Balkans meeting of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry

3 November 2021

On the occasion of Hungary’s V4 Presidency, the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (HCCI) organized a roundtable discussion entitled “Perspectives of Regional Cooperation in the View of Economic Reopening” with the participation of chamber leaders of the V4 and the Western Balkans on 3 November 2021 in Budapest. The event ended with the signature of a joint statement.
