An expert-level online meeting of the V4+Austria and Slovenia Automatic Information Exchange Working Group was held at the National Tax and Customs Administration of Hungary. The participants of the meeting exchanged experiences on tax authorities’ controls in the field of compliance with the Common Reporting Standards (CRS) and the EU Directive on administrative cooperation in the field of taxation (DAC) for the automatic exchange of financial account information. They also reported on the experience of the Peer Review process conducted by the OECD Global Forum to ensure that international standards are properly transposed and implemented. Finally, they reviewed the state of play of the preparations for the new DAC7 reporting requirements for digital platform operators of each country, in view of the new legislation which will apply from 1 January 2023.
