V4 cooperation in the field of tourism dates back 18 years and includes joint promotional activities worldwide. Today, while global travel is still restricted, the reopening of the borders after the pandemic enables our citizens to (re)discover the unique natural, cultural and touristic treasures of this safe, secure and geographically close region at the heart of the continent, which attracts tourists from all over Europe. To support the recharging of our regions’ economies and people-to-people contacts, the Hungarian V4 Presidency aims to boost intra-V4 as well as incoming tourism via joint actions, coordinated by the Hungarian Tourism Agency.
