The 3rd Visegrad 4 Competition Conference was held on 27 April 2022 in Budapest. In the framework of the programme, competition authorities and experts from the V4 countries participated in three panel discussions on legislative and enforcement developments in competition law, measures taken by the V4 authorities to address competition law emergencies and on the challenges and opportunities of digital markets.

The conference was opened by Tamás Vargha, State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary and Csaba Balázs Rigó, President of the Hungarian Competition Authority.

Institutional cooperation between the V4 countries in the field of competition law has been ongoing since 1993.
