The V4 high-speed railway working group held its first session during the V4 Hungarian Presidency on September 29 in Budapest, hosted by Péter Kiss-Parciu, deputy state secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade as the head of the Hungarian delegation. 

V4 countries were represented by their railway experts, headed by Jindřich Kušnír, director at the Ministry of Transport of the Czech Republic, by Ján Farkaš, director general at the Ministry of Transport and Construction of the Slovak Republic, and by Jakub Kapturzak, deputy director at the Ministry of Infrastructure of Poland.

During the meeting, the delegations shared information on the status of the V4 high-speed railway project development in their respective countries, and also designated the direction of the future common steps, especially in relation to financing.
