Speakers of the V4 Countries' Parliaments meet in Fehérvárcsurgó

The first meeting of the Speakers of the V4 countries' Parliaments during the Hungarian Presidency took place in Fehérvárcsurgó, Hungary, hosted by Hungarian Speaker of the Parliament László Kövér and attended by Slovak Speaker of the Parliament Boris Kollár, Czech Speaker of the Upper House Miloš Vystrčil, Czech Speaker of the Parliament Radek Vondráček, Polish Speaker of the Senate Tomasz Grodzki, and Polish Speaker of the House of Commons Elžbieta Witeková.

V4 Ministers of Foreign Affairs Meet in Komárom

Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Visegrad countries met for the first time under the Hungarian V4 Presidency in Komárom to exchange views on the future of Europe, post-pandemic economic recovery, migration and the Western Balkans. They agreed to jointly support Lithuania in protecting its borders with Belarus, which is under high pressure due to the influx of illegal migrants.

V4 and V4+Slovenia Summit in Ljubljana, 9 July 2021

A meeting of V4 Prime Ministers, as well as a V4+Slovenia consultation of Prime Ministers took place in Ljubljana, as Slovenia started its EU Presidency and Hungary started its V4 Presidency. Visegrad leaders issued a joint statement on cooperation during the Hungarian Presidency related to the Conference on the Future of Europe, migration and asylum, climate policy, and EU enlargement.

Poland hands over the rotating V4 Presidency to Hungary at V4 summit in Katowice
