V4+Republic of Korea meeting of political directors

On September 17, the Hungarian Presidency of the Visegrad Group (V4) organized the 6th V4+Republic of Korea Political Directors’ consultation. The two sides exchanged views on ways to promote cooperation between the V4 countries and the Republic of Korea. They discussed the current situation in Afghanistan and its wider implications, exchanged views on EU-Republic of Korea relations and a number of global and regional issues.
V4+Nordic-Baltic Eight meeting of Foreign Ministers

Co-organized by the Finnish NB8 and the Hungarian V4 Presidency, the 9th annual meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the Visegrad Group and Nordic-Baltic Eight was held in Vanajanlinna, Hämeenlinna, Finland. They discussed current challenges related to migration, transatlantic relations, the situation in Russia and Belarus, regional infrastructure development, the Western Balkans and strategic objectives for green transition and combating climate change.
V4+2 high-level meeting on climate issues held in Budapest ahead of the COP26 Summit
The Hungarian Presidency hosted a V4+Romania+Bulgaria high-level meeting in preparation for the COP26 Summit in Budapest on 7 September also attended by David Moran, COP26 regional ambassador for Europe, Central Asia, Turkey and Iran of the British Presidency.
Digital Public Administration Summit - V4 Summer Workshop held on 27 July

Following last year's highly successful Digital Public Administration Summit (DPAS) , a V4 Summer Workshop was held on 27 July in the framework of the Hungarian V4 Presidency. Watched by more than 350 viewers online, Hungarian, Czech, Polish and Slovak experts discussed, among others, artificial intelligence solutions in public administration and the relationship between public data and economic presence.
Visegrad Patent Institute celebrates fifth anniversary of operation

An online conference was held to celebrate the 5th anniversary of operation of the Visegrad Patent Institute (VPI), the Visegrad Group's joint institution seated in Budapest. The event has also provided potential patent applicants with information about the first steps in utilising the intellectual property they generate through R&D&I activities, with the help of patenting.
