V4+UK summit in London - V4+UK statement on Ukraine; V4 assistance to Ukraine announced

V4 Prime Ministers met in London and had talks with UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson on security, Ukraine, energy and cyber issues. A V4+UK joint leaders' statement focusing on the war in Ukraine was adopted. V4 countries agreed on joint assistance to refugees from Ukraine via the Visegrad Fund.
V4+Croatia, Bulgaria, Romania, Slovenia Meeting of Agriculture Ministers

V4 Ministers of Agriculture met for the second time under the Hungarian V4 Presidency on 4 March in the historic town of Visegrád. The meeting focused on the strategic plans of the Common Agricultural Policy and was attended by Agriculture Commissioner Janusz Wojciechowski, who gave the ministers first-hand information on the European Commission's position. Ministers adopted a joint declaration on the CAP strategic plans following the meeting.
V4+France meeting of the representatives of the Ministers of Interior

In the context of the second conference of Ministers of the Interior, organized by the Hungarian V4 Presidency, State Secretary László Felkai met with the representatives of France and the Visegrad countries at the Ministry of Interior of Hungary. The representatives of the ministers assessed the situation in Ukraine, reviewed the current issues of the Schengen area and return of persons residing in the EU illegally, as well as cooperation with third countries.
V4 Tourism High-level Meeting
23 February 2022
On 23 February a high-level tourism meeting was held in a virtual format with the participation of V4 representatives. Government officials discussed current tourism policy issues in the V4 countries, fields of cooperation among V4 markets, and the future of data-driven tourism. Sustainability and health tourism were also on the agenda. At the end of the meeting the parties also signed a protocol on cooperation in the field of tourism.
V4 Meeting of Ministers responsible for Cohesion Policy
18 February 2022
On February 18 V4 ministers responsible for cohesion policy met in Budapest. Discussions covered the future of cohesion policy and the beneficial impact of cooperation on cohesion policy to strengthen V4 cooperation, issues related to the use of the Just Transition Fund, the Recovery and Resilience Facility (RRF) and the REACT-EU Recovery Plan. Ministers agreed on the need to maintain a cohesion policy that can address both short- and long-term problems and that can become sufficiently flexible when needed.
